I am trying to take every possible moment as my little girl grows up. I look at Daisy and see how 'old' she is now...it is mind-boggling. She will be 8 in just a couple of months and Lucy 1 and Jack 4! How did this happen? People say it goes fast but I am really feeling it now. There is a certain point in which your kids seem to no longer be 'small'. No one warns you about that. And unfortunatly it just is one day. You can't see it coming or prepare yourself for it at all. It is just there. She is now a big kid. She wants to talk about different things and has some new opinions about herself and the world. She wants to 'help' but not be responsible and she knows the difference. Her adult teeth change her whole face and make her look 'big'.
So, I am trying to take every moment with Lucy and Jack and remeber these times of 'littleness'. I love my life of taking care and teaching my kids. I really miss being away; even though there are days that I wish I was any where else. When it comes down to it there is no where else I would rather be. Time is so precious and so fleeting; how do we ever really make the most of our time here? How do we do that so that we can be faithful and satisfied and content?
